Mik at RPM-mustangs said he would put my car on his site and help me out with deals on parts. That didn't really get anywhere though.

It's probably better I didn't have a sponser. That way I don' t have to mess up my car with a bunch of crappy stickers. I don' t see how it would be worth it.

Besides, then I know the car is a direct result of my hard work only.

edit: Hey, this site might be fun. I'll see what they say about my car. Yes, I'm aware of the irony.

That's not a bad idea. I'm going to fill out an application just to see what they'd say.

I was reading on that site and saw this:

Is there a cost to get sponsored?

If we don't get you sponsored you don't pay, if we get you sponsored you only pay a one-time $89 account set-up fee and a small monthly portfolio fee, it's that simple. (Click to see portfolio and features). We never charge for additional sponsorships and you are never obligated to purchase sponsors products.

It sounds to me like those fake modeling agencys for chicks and "pretty boys".

What do you have? I've got a pair of JL W3 12"s in my truck with a JL amp.

Have you guys ever heard of Phoenix Gold?

I've got a set of 10" titanium subs driven by a 1200rms viper amp in the stang. I think they actually sound better than my JL setup. It's probably the bigger amp and remote gain control that makes the difference.

Oh yeah, back on topic: This is looking a little shady:

Q: What is cost to get sponsored?

A: If we don't get you sponsored you don't pay, it's that simple. If we get you sponsored you only pay a one-time $89 account set-up fee. We never charge for additional sponsorships and you are never obligated to purchase sponsors products.

Q. How much are you authorizing my card for?

A. We only authorize your card for $89. Some credit card companies may show a hold. Only if a full sponsorship is negotiated and secured for you will we then process your credit card for that amount.
