true dual exhuast question

if you take a sixxer that comes with only 1 pipe and set it up so it has 2 does it still only have one muffler or 2 like gts?

wondering cuz a friend says he wnats true dual exhaust and to buy my mufflers but he siad he'll only need one...

im lost here lol if he wants tru duals he has 2 get a h pipe from whoever u 3.8 guys get them from or he could just get a exhaust shop custom fab 1 up wit tru duals but if he is just takin 1 of your mufflers he is still just goin 2 have a y pipe and 1 muffler

he wants the midpipe and 2 pipes showing out the back like on gts

woudlnt that mean he would need 2 mufflers

it wouldnt be true dual then unless he has a second muffler and you have the same one as him that he wants.

yes that is tru but he still has 2 eaither get 1 fabed up or buy 1 from a company who makes a 3.8 h pipe 2 make it tru dual

he can not use a gt's h pipe it wont bolt up u have 2 get 1 fabed or order 1 like i said

hes gonna actually buy the true dual but is that just the midpipe or?

he wants that and 2 tailpipes instead of just 1

ok so he is getting a 3.8 h-pipe mid pipe with 2 mufflers so he can have tru duals but he has 2 buy both of them 2 have tru duals unless he does 1 in 2 out type of deal

Nothing an exhaust shop can't cut and weld up.

dual exhaust is basically getting an X or an H pipe and a catback, or straight pipes. So for duals youll need to get rid of the Y pipe in exchange for either H or X crossover, or straight pipes from the manifolds(each one) Then each end of the pipe will have piping which will lead to a muffler so 2 are needed.
