you could do it probably.. I'm not sure though. I would pay all that money for them and then bang them up, though. and you will scrape them.

yep when i still had my cats i scraped em some, but i bumped my mufflers most of the time if i scraped bc my mufflers where the low points

Keep mufflers but get magnaflow, flowmaster, pypes, borla, etc. whatever you like the most, and keep the cats or get high-flow cats. IMO

Not to metion gettin flowmasters on a stang is like buyin a civic, everyone else has em, But I want my car to be rele loud so i want the loudest setup i can get but i don't want it to sound like total shit either. n do u know if i can put 245's on my stock rims?

not sure on the tires, but as far as exhaust u could try youtube for some vids of the exhaust sounds. i also liked borla but the system was too pricey for me.

ok. Anyway back to what this thread is about, I was thinkin about puting on 245/45 but the way it sound with the drop im gettin i will already have problems with scrapin, n if i get smaller tires that will make it even worse, so would i be able to run 45 in tires without it makin a huge diff in my ride hight?

Running unrestricted exhaust all the way back will hurt your performance. You need some backpressure in the exhaust to have your V6 run right.

mustangmo, flowmasters do not sound like shit, i sport flows on my mach 1 and my v6, my mach 1 sounds fucking amazing, my v6 sounds alright

but dude if you run straight pipes from the headers its gonna sound like ass crap, before i installed my whole exhaust system on my v6, i just had the H pipe on there (no cats) and it sounds like a v6 diesel, except a lot raspier and shittier, it was the worst sound in the world, it sounded worse than a ricer...you'll never achieve the loud/mean sound you are looking for with a v6, just isnt gonna happen...a lot of people have the same set up, so dont think because everyone has it that its lame, because most likely thats the best way to do it

so as far as exhaust goes, i would recommend, O/R H or X Pipe, mac or flowmaster mufflers...you wont find a better sounding set up with a v6
