eBay CAI

so I was just going to buy from American Muscle, and I decided to take one more look around before going from there. I found this on eBay. Is this comparable to the one from American Muscle?

I don't know about the seller, but the CAI looks good to me. BTW the link works just fine for me. However, it looks like someone else already bought it. Sorry bro.

well i own a K&N CAI and i honestly luv it, although ive never tryed a different one but never seen the need 2 and the other good thing about the K&N is it doesnt require a Tune unlike some others so that could be a bonus for those who cant afford the $300-$500 tuners but i also wont use those ebay ones either but thats my opinion Below is a scan of mine S197 06 V6.

OP isnt 05+, he doesnt need a tune for em anyway. as i've said many times b4 along with a lot of other people.... a cold air intake, no matter what the name on it is, will give you the same 2-3hp at most, ALWAYS

yes but some CAI do require a tune regardless if its not gonna increase the Hp its just to regulate the air/fuel mixture mainly and did u see my second post listing the CAI for his yr? 99-03 because i know he wasnt a 05+

even some 05+ CAI's Require a tune so that you dont run to Lean and the models are BBK from what ive heard of even prior to 05.

No pre 05 V6 need a tune for a CAI. A tune will help you see better gains from your CAI...but it is not needed!
