spoiler and emblem removal

ok so i really dont like spoilers at all on cars and i think i could do without mustang emblems on the side and the ford one on the back, for the emblems are they just magnets on the car or what are they? and would i need to have the car painted where i take the emblems off? also how would i go about filling the holes on the trunk from the spoiler?

All of the emblems have mounts so you'd be filling holes. And if you don't know much/anything about body work and/or bondo I'd say lean away from doing that. But ultimately with the removal of the emblems and the spoiler you'll need some form of paint tough up and hole filling.

It's not a hard thing to do. But if you're new to the game find a friend or shop to help out.

to remove your emblems, find something thin as a credit card, and gently slide it under your emblem you might have to slide it hard, and wiggle it a couple of times. You will also hit the part of the emblem that goes into the car, just go around it and make you youve hit all of the tape parts on the emblem. After your done using the credit card it should come off if not, get a flat head screwdriver, wrap a towel over it and pry the emblem free. Hope this helps

I used fiberglass and bondo to fill holes. Put a 2" square of glass on the underside, then fill the 2 or 3mm gap up top w/ bondo. Works great

Try running some rubbing alcohol down around the edges to loosen the glue, the emblem will come loose easier.

WOW my car came with no spoiler. One of the very first things I did was put a spoiler on it. Removing the badges is a real PITA. the actual removal isn't hard but the body work and paint can be if your not experienced. If I were you I'd take it to a shop, but it won't be cheap.

I hate to see a mustang w/o a spoiler. It loses some of that fast look it had b4. Just my 2 cents...
