What is this is whats behind it??

This isnt my car but just wondering what that is and whats behind it, mine looks like it has a really small minuscule leak.

looks like it might be ur tranny drain plug?? but not really sure. is it rubber or metal??

^lmao, its rubber looking, it looks kinda warped, ill have to get under and see if the sides are rubber and middle is medal or something,.

That is a rubber plug which is an access hole to get to the drain plug on the torque converter. It keeps dirt out of that area.

so theres nothing besides an access hole behind it? cause i might have a small leak behind it. Tranny fluid is fine.

could be oil from the rear main seal see if the leak is trans fluid or oil

Could also be leaking transmission fluid at the transmission front seal. Trans fluid should be red if it's fairly new. If it's oil then it probably is the crankshaft rear seal.

If it's a small leak it isn't worth fixing.
