Headers getting installed...

Okay I brought my car to the mechanic that will be putting my headers on and he quoted me for 480 bucks... 8 hours at 60 bucks an hour. My normal mechanic said its a bit on the expensive side but its better then running open headers across the state so whatever im not worried about that. I guess i have to replace my inlet hoses because their leaking and I need a right and left one... He said you can egt them from ford for liek 100 bucks but im wondering if any of you know sumwhere else i can get them for cheaper... thanks

wtf, the left is the egr pipe that goes into the header to the upper intake. but that pipe has two rubber hoses on them. i have no idea about the right side, never seen that on my car (2003)

cali cars and high emission state cars have a second tubing. i believe that one is actually air injection rather then EGR which is along the lines of the same bs

as far as i know NO long tube headers come with that fitting, nor is for going to sell that
the best option is to cut the fitting on your old header and have it welded to the long tubes to fit in the same spot or close so it can be hooked up or simply delete it
if it has no sensors on the piping then deleting it and getting a normal standard EGR soleniod and piping for only the driver side it shouldnt throw a code

Chris is right, those are for air injection for the egr i belive, its used in highly emmissioned states such as california. you can just hook them up and they should work fine, btw i have a used set off a 99 motor that i tore down and needed the block so im pretty sure i have a set of them in the garage. let me know.
