All season tires anyone recommend?

Right now i have these BST Radials, regardless they are shitty and looking for tires that can at least handle speeds up to 94mph, and must be average or above average in dry traction, must be above average in wet traction, and above average in winter conditions. recommend away boys! since i know absolulty nada in the tire department

I'm a cheap bastard, and I really like my Kumho ECSTA ASX's. I got a full set of 245/45R17s installed for under $500. The only downside is that they start losing dry grip at around 10-15k miles, but I consider that pretty standard for high performance tires.

I also really liked the Toyo Touring radials that I had, those were FANTASTIC on snow, though the sidewall on them was a little soft for my liking (I'll give up a little off-the-line grip for handling).

Personally I would never buy an all-season. My winter is probably a little more harsh than yours, but good tires is probably the most important thing you can do to your car. I keep winter tires on my stock rims and high performance summers on my 18s.

Definately consider two sets of tires if you can afford a second set of rims. People look at it as being really expensive to have two sets, but its no more expensive (other than buying a set of rims) because you only do have a year at a time on each set of tires.

I feel exactly the opposite. I won't run anything BUT an all-season on a daily driver, and if I want some high-performance tires, I'll mount *those* on a spare set of rims.

I have bought many different tires over the years and I have come to the conclusion that Goodyear is my favorite.

I started out with Firestone and was not thrilled with the midlife performance. The tire was everything they said it would be when it was new but when those miles piled up they just went down hill. This was even more pronounced in their handling when it rained. Had the same issue with Bridgestone

Michelin was the next tire I used. Very nice tire but very expensive. good tread wear and great rain tire.

Pirelli wore too fast. Very grippy, made you want to drive more. Developed a slight vibration at higher speeds but corner was fantastic.

Toyo's are just plain junk. I was sold a bill of goods on these tires and I will never buy them agian. After putting them on 2 of my cars they both developed and vibration from the first day. It did not matter if I replaced two different vehicles with different tire specs both had vibrations.

Continenetals are not bad but seem to were too quick for the mileage they claim

Goodyears have been my favorite so far. Good grip in the corners, no vibrations, and they handle great in the rain.

You sir, must have a lot of money for tires. Every brand you've listed starts at the most expensive and only goes slightly down from there. I'm really, really shocked to hear that you've had such a bad experience with Toyos, I've never heard of anyone else with those issues (I mean, they ARE the spec tire for American Iron...)

Falkens seem to be very hit or miss for me. Nice and grippy at first, then they just turn to wood.

I've had good luck with Nittos. But I don't have to worry about snow so I can't comment on that.

Have you ever tried anything other than an all-season? Once you try a specialized tire I doubt you will ever want to go back to an all-season.

I am a bit biased though because I autocross regularly and the time & traction difference between all-season and summer tires is quite substantial.

Eagle F1 All seasons. Little pricey but that shit will stick. Played with a 350 z on a wet track and I had the hardest time getting the thing to slip around corners and what not. That's what I'm putting on my rims, at least.

Plus i have stock rims for really bad winter weather. So yeah.

I have those tires on my Stang and they are AMAZING when it's wet. They say all season tires but in the winter/snow, driving my car on those tire is just a controlled skid.

Toyo Proxes Are High Performance All Season And Work Well In The Snow When I Got Stuck In Some. For Me We Get Snow Like 4 Or 5 Times A Winter And It Only Last A Few Days So I Want Somethin Thats Got Some Grip When The Snow Isnt Fallin But Can Still Get Me Around When It Does.

It should just be on the wall of the tire, should say a number and then "psi"

The pressure on the tire IS NOT THE RECOMMENDED PRESSURE FOR YOUR CAR!! That number is the maximum that the tire can handle. The psi depends on the tire size and weight of your car. You should be pretty good using the recommended pressure on the inside of ur door (passenger i think).
