Snow Tires? Sizes?

I have a 2000 mustang v6 munaul, and i live in rochester NY where we have some good snow fall. my question is im looking for some good snow tires, and what would be a good size to get for the mustang .

what will help is.
What is the stock rim size and bolt pattern on the mustang?
just snow tires in the back will help?
how much wieght should i add to the truck?

Size: 16x7, 5-lug, 114.3mm bolt pattern ...would that fit my car? just let me know anything you can ? thank you

I suck at metric/standard conversions...

but..

Factory your car came wiht 15" wheels and 205/65R15 tires standard, with an optional 16" wheel and 225/55R16 tires.

Mustangs of your year are a 5 lug 4.5" bolt pattern.

snow tires will help alot, but what would help MORE is snow tires and a locker differential.. although, if your heavy on the gas, a locker will also cause your car to "side slip" if you break traction.

I generally threw 4 50lb sandbags in my truck on my RWD cars in the winter, 2 over each wheelwell.....

just my 2cents worth But, I did grow up in Alaska.. so I have driven in snow just a little bit

what size rims do you have? if they're 15's, go with 205/65/R15. Right now I have studded tigerpaw iceclaw tires that ran me about 80$ a piece. they work excellent. i work at national tire and battery, and honestly in everything that i've seen it's all that you need. throw some bags of grit or sand over your wheel wells and you'll be set for the winter. just don't drive like a retard and you'll be fine
