Tires

So my front 2 tires are pretty much bald... and I need to get another set... would it be a bad idea to get a seperate brand of tires for the front? If you guys dont think its a bad idea, could you recomend some good ones that will last me a while? It snows alot here in the winter and i use my car as a DD.

btw i have an 03 sixer

If you don't mind that the tires don't look the same, then there is no reason why you can't have different tires on the front than on the back. In fact, my rear tires are an inch wider than my front tires. Most on here are looking for good performance out of their tires. Unfortunately, as a general rule the better the performance, the shorter the tire's lifespan. I'd say check out tirerack.com to see what they have as far as all weather tires. You could also go to a local tire shop and ask for recommendations. Hope this helps.
