New Driveshaft

Does anyone know of a website that sells aluminum driveshafts for the 7.5 inch rear. I found one place that sells carbon fiber ones but I don't want to pay that much. The CF one weighed 6 pounds(before yokes) but was like $600 with yokes.

is there any difference between a GT driveshaft and a v6?
should that be something to consider when beefing up the rear end?

I have a GT rear in my 98 v6. The v6 driveshaft bolts right up.

Both the GT and v6 driveshafts are the same diameter. The length would be the only difference (if there even is a difference).

Thanks for your help. I looked on ford racing and powerhouse. I like what both have to offer but the FR driveshaft was 280 and powerhouse is like 500. If i'm going to pay 500 i'mma get a CF shaft. Thanks for the links.

no problem.I forget there are other types of v6 here.I was thinkin v6 4.0 litre.it is one piece and this is very good insurance against known vibration of the steel one at higher speeds and they have been broke before.
