make a slow tight turn. if your rear end pops and jumps damn near a foot. it's probably going out.

Ok. I was worried because the rear end moves when i shift from between park, reverse, drive, and 1st gear. I can feel/ slightly see the rear of the car move.

it was more of a rhetorical question.
I don't exactly understand what he means by "moves" when he shifts and am trying to narrow out a TQ converter issue.

I don't shift while driving.
I had it sitting still, and i was shifting between the gears to see if it did it. I don't know how to explain it, other than that the rear end seems to settle into a slightly different position for each gear. It's kinda like if you have your car parked facing an incline, and you shift it into reverse, how it kinda settles back onto the rear axle? except it does it with all the gears I listed, and on a flat, level surface.
