SCT Economizer
Ok, well I'm planning on getting a tuner, so I've been doing my research. For the most part from what I've seen on here the majority like SCT. So I was looking around at the various tuners they offer. I'm not really looking for huge hp gains, I'm really looking to increase my mpgs. So I found this...
SCT Automotive Performance Products I'm trying to decide between that and the xcal. From what I read, I shouldn't expect any hp gain from the economizer, but if I went with the xcal, what kind of mpg gain would I see? Also, the mods I have so far are the am cai, and a mac catback coming off the stock y pipe. |

I have never seen the economizer before, but coming from sct its sure to be a good product. As for the xcal with an economy tune you would be looking at 1-2 mpg. How you drive the car is what will have the biggest impact on your mileage

well, the economizer offers 10% better gas mileage. so that factors out to about 1-2 more mpg. So really, I should just go with the xcal so I have the economy tune, but then when I want the performance, it will be there.
