V-6 tuner

I installed the Excal3 "stock" tune it came with 2 days ago. Does anyone know what octane that stock tune is? Im assuming its 87. If so, will it hurt to go to the gas station and fill with 93 octane and drive back to my garage in order to download the 93 tune?

No E, just xcal!

And you could drive around till your on E, then fill up and tune it while your waiting for it to pump!

So there should be a preset tune in there for the higher octanes right? I dont want to make any adjustments myself.

Yes, but you get more power by manually adjusting the parameters. If you don't get it figured out pretty soon, just come to Riverview. We can dial it in and get lit....

On the subject of tune.
After some time go's by, will the engine and transmission "adapt" to your driving habits the same way it used to or is the tune "locked" in? I was wondering if the tune "fades" after time if Im not driving it real hard all the time.
