Turbo-Exhaust Question
ok as far as everyone knows whatever exhaust u buy for a v6 stang it will sound a bit ricey after 3000 rpms but i was wondering after i install my TT setup and get an exhaust will my car sound like a gt or better ....or does the twin turbo not really alter the sound of the exhaust?

theres quite a few that dont sound ricey at all. if they all did sound ricey i think we would all run straight headers because rice = shit
![]() but i think turbo's actually make your exhaust more quiet. dont quote me on that but i think thats what someone said. if im wrong im sure ab or someone else will clean up my mess in a few minutes

well i think what it was is that the turbos just silenced it a little bit. hopefully someone can tell you indefinetly.

the turbo will have no effect on the exhaust sound....however it runs off of exhaust but doesnt change the sound....the only thing you will hear from the turbo is the blow off

i say get the bovs when you get the turbos. Cuz there is never enough hp. You will hear the turbos spool up so people will mainly focus in on that at first so no need to worry about sounding ricey. And yes all sixers sound ricers at high rpms. They are even fire engines that are just loud past 3000 rpms.
