OK. Cool. I am waiting for my tuner still but when it gets here I am going to take the car to the Dyno to get some numbers. I am hoping to get atleastt 260 at the wheels.
I just put my UDP on. Anyone who says that there isnt a differents.....My ass. Could deffinitely feel the difference especially in the midrange area. As far as what was freed up, I dont know. But you can feel it for sure. No lag in between gears. |

I have an CAI, Cat back duals, UDP, and a 75 shot of Zex. I know I wont see those numbers with just the boltons. LOL. With a really good tune I think I can get there. What do you think?

auto i doubt it manual you might have 165rwhp and 175tops tuned and on 93 a 75shot will probably not give you 75rwhp from a 6. you'll 000see alot more torque though 240rwhp would be a good GOAL 230-245rwhp would be the range i'd say. 250rwhp would be good your torque will be well over 75rwtq though. closer to 100rwtq, but then it'll slowly dwindle down |

Its an Auto. 230 - 245 seems low. There are a couple guys here who make around 260 or so with a similar combination. But I guess it all depends on the car. I know in every bunch there a couple freak motors that will produce a little more then normal. I guess there is only one way to find out. Should have her on the Dyno in a within a week. That is ofcourse if my Tuner ever comes in.
Heres another interesting question. With this combination, how would I stand up against SRT-4 Neons, GTI's and wrx's (non-STI)? |

well as a note I have 167whp 169wtq in my scion and with my 100 shot it made 258whp and 309wtq
so with a 75 shot dont expect much over 240 and you could take all the cars you listed with a 75 shot

Well I should be higher then 167hp right now. Thats what our motors put down completely stock. With the current mods, tune and 75shot...I dont see why not.
GreenFaleen- Your in Raleigh...How often do you hit the track? Do you go to Peidmont? I am in Gboro. |

Yea that place does blow. I am use to 1/4 mile at Maryland International raceway in Budds Creek Md. thats where I am from. This track sucks. I havnt made it to Rockingham yet. Working on it.
OK. Now I just got an email saying my tuner is up for tunning in a couple days....it will be shipped by next Wed at the latest....Are you F'ing kidding me. it should not take 2 weeks for 3 canned tunes. Never ordering there again. |

a guy on this site and many others with 5speeds average about 165rwhp with intake and exhaust punypony made these numbers with FULL bolt ons and 75shot 263/340 on the bottle, 185/215 N/A note this is manual with aluminum flywheel and driveshaft an auto alone with full bolt ons and spray will make at least about 13rwhp less avg plus he has, long tube headers, catless midpipe, pulley if you were to make75rwhp on the shot 235 as i said would probably be your numbers tuned 240 Last edited by itschristorres8 : July 31st, 2008 at 05:08 PM. |

Ok...I can dig that. So tell me why it is that a Manual will make 13 or so more HP then an auto with the same mods. That doesnt make since to me. But I am still learning so I am all ears.

Yeah MIR is an awesome track rockingham is pretty nice though, and the auto makes less case it steal a good bit more power than a manual just because of all the autoate stuff it has

automatic tranny's have more parastatic loss through the tranny then a manual
an est avg is manuals with aluminum flywheel and driveshaft will avg about 10-15% lost. 15 being kinda high autos are about 20%+ ive seen/heard some with 30% loss put it like this stock your MOTOR makes 190. but you put out 150-155rwhp thats 40hp lost 190x.20=38.... 190-38=152rwhp .20 is 20% so these cars lose about 20% through an auto tranny 190x.15=28/29 190-28=162 thats about the average dyno pull a manual will make 15% loss STOCK aluminum drive shaft and flywheel will take away from that being 10-15% Last edited by itschristorres8 : July 31st, 2008 at 11:13 PM. |
