Tunning

I know this may be a pointless thread to some, but I just had a question. How long does it usually take to get a tuner after it is ordered? I ordered from VMP.

by the time you get it, cars wont need tunes anymore. You'll just think "shiftpoint" really hard and the car will understand.

Actually I have no clue. Did you search the review section to see if there was any garbage in their? And seriously, should have ordered from Richard at Radmustangs. You'd have in a day or two. Im sure someone will chime in here.

i usually like VMP tuning until the BS ive heard with a buddy of mine that got his tuner and MUCH more through him and Justin still screwing him over.

thats the main reason why i didnt go up to VMP for tuning plus a lot of his new work and graphs i dont care for to much.
if anyone wants more detail PM me

WOW...Really. I kept hearing how good they were. Now I am hearing otherwise. Well I wont judge the work just yet because I havent gotten my tuner yet. But I will say the customer service is piss poor. They dont have anyone to answer the phones. What is there 3 people working there.

sorry you ordered from him...

VMP dissappointment

there was also a thread about it on 3.8mustang.com where a bunch of other ppl have gotten screwed on how long it takes him to ship it out until he had it deleted...my guess it bc it was "bad for business"

dis this is true. ive heard nothing but awsome stuff from Joe(guy mentioned in hmusn's sig)

VMP is horribly just going down hill. i remember while calling. which only took like 6 damn calls before someone picked up on the 3rd day(NO LIE!) to talk to him about the tune i loaded on obdnanrs car....well i told him what i did about the timing and how he'd be going soon and was like oh. ok. yea. and making it kinda seem like im just an idiot and didnt wana talk...so i was eventually just like...um ok bye.

Ive yet to talk to them since. as it is calling is almost a waste of time. last thing i ordered from them came in a fucking baby diaper box. I know I own a small business and some of my boxes might have a small label saying summit or dish on the box but for shits sake. this box was big green, baby on it with diapers, looked like i was having a kid. not professional at all.

lets put it this way
the tune from VMP would have costed me $450
i paid $550 for my tune with Scott Beers down here instead for many reasons

sad to see vmp doing so shitty. they used to be VERY good
its been awhile since i've heard any good from them

oh and about the 3people working there. i believe theres only 2-3people that work there at a time AT MOST.

Yeah Justin seems like he has an IQ of 10 when he responds to emails. Every answer is the same thing and its like he doesn't even read what you write.. I wonder if its an automatic service.

OK, that was funny as hell. he sent it to you in a Baby pamper box. LMAO..I mean its not funny but come on. Really? That is in no way professional. Sorry man.

Man, had I known. Maybe I should have asked around a little more and got some more opinions. Ok. Well I am hoping everything comes the way I asked it to be. I checked out TrickTuners and it seems cool. Love the prices. I guess if everything isnt like its suppose to be, I will just take the "L", not deal with VMP anymore and give TrickTuners a buzz and talk to them.

Yea your are nto kidding about he 2 people working there. Claiming they are always on the Dyno. Yea, gotta love his replies....Well when they come.

Well...we will have to see what if the package is all together. I am hoping so. He actually called my cell phone yesterday evening. I missed the call though. I will try and catch him today. I figured it should take this long. Today its been a week since I have ordered. With the combination I have, it should have taken long to program and send out.

ricerapper - how much HP are you making with and without the 75 shot?
