what kind of setup are you looking for? Naturally aspirated, nitrous, supercharger, turbo? We can go on from there with a better list than the usual stuff. Also the anny mustangs just got like some special badges and small stuff like that.

first thing gotta figure out what you want to do with it, is this just a fun daily driver, something for autocross, maybe street/strip, or all out race?

most choose, something between daily driver and street/strip... couple different routes to take, full bolt-on n/a (naturaully aspirated), or with some sort of forced induction (turbo/supercharger), or even nitrous or both. if going the regular bolt-on route, most will start with some sort of cold air intake kit, there are several different designs and styles to choose from, fenderwell is pretty popular. there are metal intakes and composite intakes, naturally metal intakes get hotter, but not as hot as the upper intake manifold. next most will choose some sort of exhaust modifications including headers, mid-pipe, mufflers and tips. there are a variety of designs and styles from side pipes to true duals. you can even have someone weld in a take-off gt exhaust system for you on the cheap. purchasing a handheld tuner such as SCT's XCAL2 can prove quite usefull in later modifcations such as gear and t-lok. UDP's (under drive pullies) are availble from sources such as ASP. most will choose to lower their mustang anywhere from 1.0-2.0 inches, anything over 1.4 will require the use of caster camber plates. lowering your mustang will greatly improve handling. most will purchase new shocks, struts, lowering springs, caster/camber plates and do them all at once. you can usually find rear swaybars for sale from GT owners that have upgraded faily cheeply. they will bolt right in. there are a variety of electrical upgrades availible such as MSD spark plug wires, coil packs and optima battery. later would come bigger desicions such as heads, cam, intake upgrades, new internals, or some sort of forced induction? hope this gives you some ideas

I'm not even gonna help out in this thread. I'm tired of street racing jerk offs. I just had to listen to a friend of mine who is a paramedic tell me about how one guy wrapped his car around a tree...had to pull the car apart before they could take his corpse out. Had to cut the other kid out of his 5 point harness, and the guy who was drivin on the road not doin a damn thing has medical bills for just tryin to get home from work.

Why did all of this happen? Because they were racing. Take it to the track.
