And the winner is....
GREENFALEEN!
for being the person who said "your nitrous lines are gonna leak like a bitch" They did. i got my tank filled today and kept getting pinhole leaks before my purge syllonoid. I was gonna go to the track tomorrow but i cant now. I disassembled the entire thing, and gonna redo it and use plenty of teflon paste. Words of wisdom: "dont be a fucking retard and rush something because it will be 10x harder to fix your mistakes later" |

you put the lines one without teflon?
and npt thread or thread pitch with a line that has, air, oil, water, any fluid should always get a wrap of teflon my car lives on that with all my oil feed and drain lines to the turbo why not just order nitrous lines from summit? arent you still using those brake lines? |

yea, here what i did.
My nitrous line enters my engine compartment and go to a t nitrous fitting. This is used for a purge syllonoid (spell). Since i have both a guage and purge, i took the original t fitting, put a small straight peice on, and then put a brake line t fitting in there. This way, i installed my sending unit to one end of the t, then my purge shit to the other, and the last side was obviously my nitrous inlet. Ill post pics soon. it leaked everwhere and i put on tephlon paste, whiped it off and used tape, still didnt work. Im using jb weld next. i didnt even have an oppurtunity to see if my brake line will leak. but hey, my purge looked sick as fuck. |
