Bouncing

okay, i put the 17" Cobra Rs on today, and finally got to drive around, well its a little bouncy...around 35-40mph. the front two tires are brand new, mounted and balanced on the wheel, the back two came with the rims from the guy i bought them from, they had good tread so i just put them on, didnt balance them, while at the shop he lifted the back end of the car up and hit the gas and you could see the tire bouncing like going up and down a little, he said it could be the axle, but the axle wasnt doing that with the old tires, he took the tire off and put it on the balancer machine and it didnt wobble up and down at all, he didnt do any balancing on it at that time either though.
after leaving there i went to get a second opinion from pit stop, the guy got in my car (so did the other guy at the other shop) and he drove it down the street then back up, he said he didnt notice much but notice a little and said it felt like to him that the inside of that tire was coming unglued or something,

one guy says could be axle, but it didnt wobble up and down with old rims
one guy says could be the actual tire
back two tires have not been balanced to my knowledge.

any takers on this one? i knew you guys needed a challenge

also i took it for its alignment and after the alignment, i cant get above 60 without the ENTIRE car shaking to death, this is after alignment, im gonna take it back for him to fix it again.

Well unless you did tremendous to the back end on the way there I doubt it's the axle. I'm betting on the tire. Try putting on the other tire on that side a see if it does the same thing. If it does then it's the axle, if not it's the tire. Simple!

lol try changing a HUMMVVE tire in the 125 degree heat with all you r armor on using only hand tools, Wile everyone else is pulling 100% security to make sure you dont get your head blown off.......... no try your tires. there is no way a axel mess up that quick. and check the fit of the lugs in the rim to see if they are wolled out.

wounder if he sold em to you because one was bent? when a rim gets bent you feel it!

also loosen the lugs and wiggle the wheel around to make sure all 5 lugs are seated in the middle of their holes and tighten accordingly.

you know it could also be a ID10T error...

i would have suspected warped rim or somehing but when he took it off and put it on the balancer it spun fine, just not while its on the car.......im goin back up there now to have him balance the back two and fix alignment cause of how it got worse.

omfg, alright well while i was at the suspension shop, my suspension mechanic took one of the lug nuts off and discovered that the washer that keeps the lug nut from tearing into the rim was broken.......alot of them were.....he took them all off, put the lugs back on, and BAM all that shaking is now gone. WOOHOO!!!! ill take pics of her shortly.
