1/4 time with my 00 v6 with just a cai!!!

I am curious to a rough time on quarter miles. I have an 01 mustang with 5 speed. I have a good motor low miles. I have udp, cai, tru duals, and a sniper tune. I was wondering wut would be an average time in the quarter with those upgrades. Cuz i want to kick the crap out of my friends civic si who thinks he is hot crap. I have raced him on the road and beat him by a car length.

I beat my friends civic si w/ my basically stock 04 v6...don't worry about the race...if ur beating him on the street then u should be fine on the track...

What year si? If it is one of the new ones he'll smoke you in the 1/4. You have better Tq that him and you'll beat him off the line, but as soon as he hits his power band he'll fly past you. You probably aren't getting to that point in a street race(since you don't hit his power band in light to light races). If it is one of the old civics, then you'll win.

WTF...dude you're still a noob here...this is the V6 section and all V6ers are welcome. That 05+ sub-forum is pretty new anyway. Besides, stock for stock the 05+ really isn't that much better that the 99-04. It is a little better, but not that much. As I said before a good time (that means ideal conditions with a very good driver) for a new edge should be about a 15.5. That is stock.

It is one of the older ones. And i know the new ones are fast i have raced a couple and yeah. K so hopefully this weekend i can get him to go to the track and shut him up once and for all.

codeman i have a 01 V6 with a five speed bbk cai and flowmaster true duals and on a 93 degree weather day it ran a 15.73
