1/4 time with my 00 v6 with just a cai!!!

i think this should probably be in the drag section but i find it a lil strange how my car with just a cai ran a 15.3 at 89 mph at the track i see alot of other stock cars running like 16's or high 15s

yea im soon getting duals, udp, gears (4:10s), long tube headers and 75 to 100 shot
thats all im lookin for and a dyno tune after all that lol

wow that is a ridiculous time for a basically stock auto.

That actually sounds about right. A good driver should get about15.5 in the 1/4. But congrats that is a good time.

I don't think I've ever seen a stock auto under 16 seconds. A CAI is basically stock as far as performance is concerned.

how exactly did you make that run? say you pulled up to the line, waited for green, then punched it. is that it? how did you launch? what was your r/t?

have you seen many races? no offense or anything, im just saying the 05+ dead stock is 15.3

I have an 03. The fastest I have gone with an CAI and true dual Flowmasters was 16.1 . I have an auto as well. How did you pull that one off?

I have a 2000 also with a cai and spark plugs lol and all new fluids and i manged a 15.4 on a cold day at the track. but 15.2 or 3 ???
