err i mean what year lol. maybe he just dont know how to do it. shifting manually makes for a harder shift. and unless you tune it and get a shift kit putting it in D wont be as good as manual shifting

if he could redline it everytime in D, then he had something done to it. he tuned it and had the shift points changed. As long as you dont go into the redline all the time, you wont mess up anything. Its a fun way to act like you have a manual, and it is faster, or at least it is with my car. This isnt my section but i have to argue with you on this one Chris.

Why would you want to pretend to have a "fun" manual when you could just get one. Goodness people sticks are for drivers.

Then move .

I don't know I just can't drive an auto anymore, its so boring, and it feels like I have so much less control over things... ohh and I can't drift / powerslide as easily... Also growing up in Australia, you have to drive a stick or your considerd stupid so that may have somthing to do with it...

i got an auto because that was all that is around me. I had my fun with it and I bought a parts car this summer that has a T5 in it. the swap will be starting in two more weekends. I am no stranger to manuals, I was just gonna put a C4 in my car and be done with it, but that would suck on the highway. after my car becomes strictly a drag car, it will have either a C4 of a heavy duty manual. The T5 has a hard enough time behind the stock 5.0, let alone around 375 HP my car should be putting down when i get all my stuff in.
