Side Exit Exhaust

I have been looking for a good side exit exhaust. I dont want the rousch style tips but more like the cobra r. i found the steeda kit, but does anyone know what it will sound like with no cats on a v6?. i dont want a ricer sound, i have flows right now with no cats just looking for that style if anyone has that setup i also saw the spintechs theysound to ricey anny opions

from what I have heard on this site they dont sound good at all....they are really raspy

I've heard side exhaust on a 6 and was very surprised at how bad it sounded. Just a heads up. It looked cool but sounded shitty.

Yeah my friend and I put the roush on his and after he started it up we immediatley took it off

it sounds ok if you keep cats and have good mufflers, but you have to be careful it is very easy to rip out

ya it is amazing what the tail pipes do for the sound on our cars i ran the exact same set up with tailpipes coming out the rear, and dumping right after the mufflers. the dumps sounded shitty, really raspy and had a weird echo. with the tail pipes it sounds amazing

+ 1000000 on the easy to rip out.....i had my side exhaust custom made with magnaflow mufflers!?!?!? sounds good.......just make sure its solid!?!?!
