hey i talked to a guy at a shop and he said that he would custom make a true dual catback with flowmaster 40's and a o/r h-pipe and install for just $400...but i would have to supply the LT headers..and after the cost of headers and intall of everything it would cost just under a thousand...so do yall think the LT headers are worth the extra 500-600 dollars added to the price..?..or should i get sumthn else like gears and t-loc..?..or a windstar kit..?

Honestly, it just depends on what you want to do with your car! You know you can do a full on exhaust yourself with kits from reputable dealer on the net. You can also do the LTs yourself with the right tools. If I'm not mistaken, you need to lift the engine a few inches in order for them to clear. Now if you plan on having the shop install everything, including your custom exhaust, make sure they use mandrel bends on the pipes, not crush bends. Good luck with all of it.

crush bends crush part of the pipe to make the bend. mandrel bends do not. mandrel bend is the best way because the crush bend restricts the exhaust flow with the crushed parts where mandrel is free flowing

Windstar intake

My wife has a 2004 w/ the 3.9 V6. Is there any difference in the 3.8 & 3.9 intakes? And would this Windstar improve her 3.9 at all?

the 3.9 literally only has a few ponies more then a 3.8...all the 3.8 parts will work with a 3.9 and yes it'll help it out
