Lowering Springs


Well, I get paid next week and I wanted to buy lowering springs. Want to drop it about 2 inches. Any suggestions on a good brand. 2000 3.8 v6 thanks

ive never seen those dropzone springs before. keep in mind you get what you pay for.

If you go below 1.5in, I am pretty sure that you need C/C plates. However, if you stay right at 1.5 or highr you are good to go.

I dropped mine 2 inches and did not need c/c plates

You will buy tires incredibly often without cc plates. I have eibach prokit springs (1.5in. drop) and MM cc plates. The camber is still slightly off but as good as it's gonna get. Not a necessity unless you wanna do it right, and as always, try to do everything at the same time. Tires get expensive especially on 18's like me...

imo if you lower it you should get cc plates and with a 2in drop you will want to get them.

I installed the h&r ss springs and i love them, stiffened up the ride enough but didnt take away my driveability at all. i need cc plates though, which are extremely easy to set up.
