i went to the local autostore "checker" and bought two delta flowmaster 40s, then went and bought the tips i wanted, told the shop i wanted straight piped dual from the cats, and total w/labor was under $400.

I am happy with the sound, although it tends to drone out after it gets warmed up, and around 3k rpm. Performance wasnt the greatest improvement, but I am not looking to race, just to go fast ...i got true-DUAL exhaust tho!

I would say I'm happy with it...could be louder i guess, but i know I can't get the v8 sound, obviously (i got the look tho!)

Yeah I had a custom h-pipe made. With them making it and installing the h-pipe and my catback it was $150.

mufflers connect to a y pipe then a small like 1 foot pipe and then splits to the 2 cat pipes that connect to the manifolds. Is that considered a y pipe? I told him I want an h and he said he would do a x pipe? Thanks

Also the tips and the mufflers are like 600 F is it supposed to be like that? There hot as hell

and a catback is extremely easy to do. unfourtanly for 400 dollars you cant get a H pipe and catback so youll prob just have to get a catback off of your stock Y pipe. spray everything up with WD40 or they might snap, they might snap anyway, the bolts in the exhaust. def look up MACs or Flows. Id prob save up and buy a H pipe and catback thu. youll see very little power gains with a catback off of the stock Y pipe. and its goingto be quiet, and not sound so hot
The shop i went to cut out the y and made it true duals. However now i wanna get headers and H pip now. Does any one know how much headers would be. I can get a H or X pip for 215 insalled.
If i get full exhaust, headers H or X pipe and then the catback how will it sound?

set the video camera down behind the car then get in and rev it up... let it idle for a bit then slowly rev it through the rpms.. then punch it a couple times
