Discussing help me please my clutch is propably going to take a dump in the V6 Mustangs Forum. ok heres the situation ever since i got my stang the clutch has been ticking ...

help me please my clutch is propably going to take a dump


ok heres the situation ever since i got my stang the clutch has been ticking when in neutral and i know its no the t/o bearing my dad told me there is probably a weight loose on the pressure plkate which means once the clutch takes a dump and the weight falls off i need a new clutch im not lookin foward to buying a new clutch any time soon and wasnt really planning on it either so i have two questions #1 could there be a loose weight on the pressure plate and my 2nd question is when i do get a new clutch i want something stronger than what i already have does anyone know of any decent stage 2 clutches for the 3.8 motor and trans

american muscle has the stage 1 & 2 SPEC clutches for the 3.8L. Pretty reasonable price and its free shipping.

if it was a loose weight on the pressure plate, it would also tick in gear at low speeds..... but, I am not the manual tranny wiz...

it dont stick in gear it just ticks real bad

try to get a centerforce clutch.... the spec clutches just seem to be trouble from what i hear from the people who have them

where can i get one and how much are they im really not lookin foward to gettin a clutch cuz i also need rear shocks and i dont wanna get shocks cuz i wanna do the whole shock strut and and spring deal all at the same time '

as in u want coil-overs? if not the rear shocks are very easy to replace.

no i wanna lower it and 1.5 up front and 1" in the rear and i dont wanna do this till i can get shocks and struts (but coil overs would be nice too but idont have the money for that )

why not 2 up front a 1.8 in the back

dont have the money to buy cc plates remember my clutch is gettin ready to take a dump anyway and im very tight on money right now since my carents are taking money out of my paycheck cuz i need to pay them for the car also and i need to pay to go to school and all this other bs and need a new clutch springs shocks and struts

kinda off topic question but.... if ima lower my car how much should i lower it? and wut r the cc plates? and also y dont u guys just lower it evenly front and back?

less then 1.5in cuz if not you'll need CC(caster chamber plates)
some like the front lookin lower then the back...as do i myself
