dont mess with it
making it leaner can lean out your a/f ratio you'll start to ruin plugs and detnate then have some serious issue, that can make you lose your motor if you go to lean
to rich will kill plugs, weaken performance and make your 02sensors go bad faster
plug poor gas milage

doesnt mean leaner means more power now either

on my xcal 3 i have my car set to 2% leaner, and the spark up 4% for the first rpm range, than 4% for the second rpm range and 2% for the last rpm range. i also have it set to a 93 octane tune and obvi i use 93 octane. my shifts are also set to max firmness for each gear

On a somehwhat related note... can having a crack in the manifold make your engine run rich since air could be leaking in to the o2 sensor behind it?

yes ^ /no
depends wheres the crack before or after the first sensor
after not so much
before probably still more toward no because exhaust just escapes out of there no air really enters at all
