has anyone snaped a 7.5 rear end?

I ask this question becasue im getting scared that my rear end will break soon with all the power im putting into it. I want to get gears and t lok for the 7.5 but im prob gonna wait and get an 8.8 swap then get gears.

If you're gonna put ALOT of power and do hard launches like take it to the track, that's a possibility. I have a friend with an 04 sixxer who runs mid 12's on nitrous that has seen it happen and he swapped to an 8.8. It all depends on the amount of power and the functionality.

the power level you are at isn't anything that should brake it, but the instant power gain of the n2o is something that could. so i would at least upgrade to a good t-lock for the 7.5, but depending on your plans the 8.8 might be the best idea

I've blown mine in 2nd gear
a ford racing posi probably isnt the best tlok to install
i'd get a 8.8 or a detriot trutrac

even stock 8.8s arent to strong really
