Solutions to fix sounding like a diesal...

So...just taking thoughts on fixing/changing the sound of my car.

APPARENTLY...it sounds like a diesal. I've got the pypes o/r x with the pypes violator catback. Don't say replace the whole thing, because I just can't afford that.

Suggestions welcome.

new mufflers

get some mac flowpaths and have them welded in.
because then it would be very smiler to what i have just with stock manifolds and no cats.
and i love the sound of mine, sounds nothing like a diesel.

another thing that might help would be to get some high flow cats welded in.

Can't afford cats. Cant really afford to do anything right now, haha. I might just go ahead and get it inspected and cut of the mufflers and run turn downs.

Generally dumps that sound good are dumped after the muffler. Your only real option is to change the mufflers.

Almost sounds like there is a leak in it unless that was just "microphone" noise. It does sound "odd".

doesnt sound too bad, doesnt sound good but not that bad. O/R x's or h's on a stock motor six is a bad idea. However, investing in a cam and your car would sound alot better

check this out:

full exhaust and cam
