Long term storeage

Hey guys, I am soon going into college and I have to take the stang off the road. I really should sell it but i am having a hard time even thinking about it. What are the steps I should take as far as long term storage is concerned. I dont have a garage but I am going to get a car cover. BTW: its a 98 with 145,000 miles. Thanks a lot for the help.

i wouldnt drain the oil
the gas you can put sta-bil in
i would actually put a little bit of oil in the spark plug holes
keep the piston and cylinder slightly lubricated

then when you start the car drain the oil
put in new oil
then plung out the oil in the spark plug holes
