i have a 2004 mustang v6...will the 03-04 cobra front bumper fit my car..?

Yes, but if you don't fab something up, your hood will overlap it and it will start scratching the top of the horns. It's not a big deal if you simply decide to install the hood and not fab anything, but it doesn't hurt to do something. My friend installed a '01 Cobra bumper on his GT, and the scratch marks are very light.

I think the mounting points might be different, but it should fit with very little trouble.

Yes, but as other said, the 03-04 Cobra used a different hood which doesnt come down as far. Which means if you dont have the 03/04 Cobra hood, the bumper will do a little rubbing at the top.

I have a 01 cobra bumper on my 03 V6, no customization required to fit at all. The fitting issues only apply to the 03/04 Cobra front bumpers/hoods.

it only overlaps by a 1/4 inch.
it's hardly noticable.

it fits fine, the mounting points are exactly the same. i have one on my car and its fits perfectly

Your hood is going to overlap the horns, so every time you close your hood, they're going to be rubbing against each other. Like I said, my friend had to point it out to me.
