00 v6 vs 94-98 gt

do you think that my 2000 auto v6 with cai, tb, t-lok and 3.73s can take a 94-98 gt??? the crank hp from the gt is only 205 if its a 5.0 and 215 if its a 4.6 and the v6 is 190, so im not too far off and the gears do make a difference ???/ wat do you think??

Your at about 160-165 to the wheel, he's at about 180 I believe, and then you have the torque.

the camaro is a drivers race with him having the edge and it depends on the eclipse to be honest.
some of them have turbos

you need 70 HP and 63TQ to match a 99-04 GT.

the non turbo eclipse you shouldn't have an issue with

Let's get serious here. You have an Auto V6. You're not going to be able to beat a lot of cars on the road. Most newer grocery getters have more HP than you and would walk you pretty easily (i.e. Fusion, Camry, Accord six cylinders).

The only way to go fast in a ATX V6 is either a) Forced Induction, or b) Nitrous. I don't know much about Mustang ATXs, but I do know that most ATXs do not hold up well to boost/nitrous. Torque Converters and shift kits help that though.

turbo eclipses are decently fast. I had one that stayed about 2-3 cars behind me to 120 then got anihilated up to 150

im p&p my intake and heads with a cam this winter along with dual flowmasters, so i should be up around 220rwhp or so , by then i shouldnt have too much of a problem with most cars like a mustang or the "grocery getters"
