X Pipes
What do you guys think of X pipes. Right now I have true dual exhaust. I think X pipes might be a waste. What do you think?

not worth it
a short mid pipe and long tubes would be better

correct me if theres another term for the pipe in between headers and cat back. but if you dont have a mid pipe thats straight headers. and wouldnt be called true dual exhaust.

no you said no mid pipe. if you didnt have a mid pipe it would go Headers -> open space -> and catback dragging on the ground.

no. When you have true duals...that is not considered a mid pipe since it two totally separate pipes with nothing to intersect or cross them. Thuse being the only true dual exhaust there is. No gasses intersect or flow together from either side of the engine.

An x or H pipe on a V6 will sound better and also allow a broader torque range than a true dual exhaust.....

2.5" for any street v6. some cars with more power and higher revs will benefit from 3" pipes, but most track-only cars use headers to collector pipe only on strip...
but X pipe makes no power difference than H pipe on the even firing essex motors. the sound will not be as deep, that is why most people go with an H
