odometer / mileage question

Any way to find out the real mileage on my 97 stang? the odometer broke a while ago and i had fixed it so obviously the mileage is off on it and i was just curious what the exact is.

Can the dealership hook something up to the computer inside the car and tell me?

Is there anything else that can tell me without going to the dealership?? I have an OBDII cable so if anyone knows any software that i can use my cable with to tell that would be cool too!!

thanks

I would think that the ECU would keep that info, but if your computer has been replaced, then I think you would be effed

computer was never replaced. Only thing that was replaced was the gear inside the instrument cluster that like melted in a way.
