weird sound from intake. please help!

Hey ya'll this is my first post on here hopefully I can get some help. Within the last few days I've noticed that when I'm idling I hear this sound coming from my cai, its like a popping kinda sound thats the best I can really describe it my car runs great other than that. I have a 2000 with k&n cai, udp's and an sct livewire. Also, while I'm at it. I've been havin some problems with my ac compressor, its started making this kinda hissing sound when I accel it goes away. Is my compressor going out? Any help is greatly appreciated.

It sounds like when you rev your engine up real loud then let off the gas and your exhaust makes that kinda farting sound. Is this something to worry about? Please help

you need to find the leak is all.

look for any tubes that are disconnected or grab a can of brake fluid and start spraying the lines while looking for air bubbles.

Sweet will do. What do you think about my ac. It makes this hissing, kinda raspy metallic sound. I'm planning on jut replacing it.

Haha yea. I would. But I live in the south. I'd die without ac and I'd rather live than gain a couple hp lol

Try this. Wait til its about 85 outside then get a blanket, soak it in water the same temp, wrap yourself up in it and go outside. That's pretty much how it is haha

Can't say I have. I guess I'm just not used to the humidity. I moved here from california. I was used to the dry heat which isn't bad at all

I lived in Gautier for almost 10 years and there are plenty of places up and down the coast ( from Pascagoula to Bay St. Louis). You can look in the Coast Penny Saver and find some pretty good mechanics in it.
