cant do burnouts?

When i hold in the brake and try to do a burnout.....the car just sounds like its bogging and the tires wont spin. What could the problem be? Bad torque converter solenoid? Im not throwing any codes, and the car is running great.

I dont have TC.

I USED to be able to do them. Now i cant. Im not sure what the problem could be. Im hoping that its just the torque converter solenoid failing to lock and not a tranny or bad torque converter all together.

ur shit if fucked up then. My car will spin 285s off the launch with posi. And doing a burnout is no problem. Hell, even with my stockers and one wheel peel, id roast the shit out of it. But, do you really need to do burnouts? If your car is running fine otherwise, id just let it go before somthing big breaks.

of course i dont NEED to do them. But im simply stating that my shit isnt working properly...and im trying to nail the culprit....which i think is the torque converter solenoid....but no one is throwin me any USEFUL info to make me 100%. And id rather have an idea what is wrong before i take it to a tranny shop. Know the problem....save myself the cost of labor for a professional to look at everything.

I tear the hell out of mine. Now and also right after I pulled her off the lot in 2003. LOL. That was the first thing I did. Then realized it was only the one-wheel-peel but it was still fun.

...your kidding right? It's easy as anything to do a burnout with a GT. did one with a wornout differential like it was nothing.
