Crossover pipe

On my exhaust I have 2 completely separate pipes one on either side, and I read somewhere that by putting a crossover pipe(smaller in diameter than the existing pipes) mid way between your cats and your muffler will increase torque. I was wondering if any one else has heard this or if you think it would be worth it?

i heard it as well on the speed channel tuner challenge..
i have the same muffler set up as you
i think it'd be worth it if you drill and weld good. cuz you'll just need to cut a whole the size of the pipe you have in the middle of the car, one on each side obviously and just weld the pipe to it...

of course its easier sed then done but its not like a all day project...i'd say just an hour

Yeah well my muffler shop would do it cause their deal is if you need anything worked one after they install it they will do it for free so you would go with it?

im dont think it matters power wise on a v6, but it will probably sound better

btw, are your headlights foggy, because if they are nappa sells some plasic cleaner and polish for 10 bucks that is absolutely amazing.
