Cougar computer in 2000 3.8 stang

i have recently aquired a computer for a thunderbird sc and i was wondering if it would be ok if i put the computer on my 2000 3.8 mustang. my friend bought the cougar engine just for the supercharger and i have all the parts off of the engine and i was wondering if i could just take a few parts of the cougar engine and make it work in my mustang. So what i am really asking is, will the computer help me or hurt me.

Thanks!!

no, it wont work. your car is a split port and the cougar xr7 and supercoupes are single port. the computer wouldnt do anything for you, it would actually hurt
