just out of curiosity, MAX A/C

when you put the controls on Max A/c does it make the air colder, or just open up a vent under the dash for extra air flow?

It closes your recirculation valve so the air stays in the car, and makes it come out the dash vents. Nothing special happens with the A/C compressor, if that's what you're wondering.

you actually get cooler air at its lowest setting because it doesnt have to circulate as much and that cause the evaporation to be cooler.

When the temp is hotter in your car than it is inside, us A/C, b/c the air your compressor has to cool will be cooler. Once the inside is cooler, use MAX A/C. It circulates the air in the cabin. Also, MAX A/C is louder in the cabin than regular A/C.

That's right on. Your compressor works just as hard on A/C or Max A/C. The reason Max A/C is cooler is b/c it's taking the air in your cabin (which is already cool) and cooling that. The cooler the starting air, the colder the output will be (to an extent).
