i am thinking about getting a new programmer for my mustang. i have found one from Granatelli Motor Sports at summit racing. would this be a good choice or a mistake? what works for you guys? the main thing is that this one is a little cheaper.

I personally use an sct livewire. But that's a little on the more expensive end. I know a lot of people use the xcal3 I think, or the diablo tuner.

Stick with SCT or sniper..
Preferably SCT.... The live wire isn't needed, buy an xcal 2 or 3 and mods.

Sctflash.com can give you some ideas. But I'm sure some of the dudes here have more experience using either device.

livewire has more functions, the x-cal is all you need
