valvoline maxlife atf
According to the back of the bottle on the valvoline maxlife atf it is "suitable where mercon v is called for" anyone know more about this considering the bottle claims it is dexron/mercon on the front. Didnt seem to make much sense to me although ive been using it for about 2 months with no problems.

It is because mercon v retrofits to all dexron III/ Mercon applications. It basically means it covers both applications. So it is MERCON/DEXRON and MERCON V.
