Turbo Question

I plan on getting a single turbo kit from tmaturbo. I plan on getting gears, and i want to know what would be the best gears for the turbo?

if you stay 7.5 then 3.55's arent an option. do you have manual or auto?

then in that case stock gears or 3.73.

....4.10 is gonna be too much for boost on either one

motive gears makes 3.45... id say that for manual... 3.73 for auto... hell with turbo 3.45 might be good for auto as well

with the 8.8 definitely go 3.55

But im talking about gears as of right now. I plan on buying a 8.8 rear end right before i get a turbo. I probably wont get the turbo until sometime next year bc i also plan on doing a split port swap. I guess it would be better to buy the 8.8 now and save up for the turbo.

yea, see you dont want teh steeper gears because u want the boost to be able to build thru the rpm range and if u just shoot right thru it too fast u wont be taking advantage of it as much
