Twin turbo versus supercharger

Okay guys and gals -

I have a Stage 1 Roush 3.8L.

I have 245 rwhp. I'm not impressed with this. I'm wanting to upgrade this. I would like to see what everyones opinion is on the best way to do this. Twin turbo or supercharger. What is the pros and cons of each. When I go the do this, cost will not really be an issue. I'm also looking to run a N20 kit. Can any one recomend a good kit, I would prefer a auto kit versus a push button kit, spray into the intake type of kit.

Thanks

well ive always like superchargers... but i believe that a twin turbo would give you more horsepower but also be more expensive. its really a personal choice. like i said im not sure but im sure some one will pop on and give you a better answer.... btw.. a v6 roush?

A stage 1 roush is not putting down 245 hp to the wheels without some sort of poweradder. I'm not being a dick, but I'm pretty sure your v6 isn't faster than my GT. Not saying my GT is fast, but without a poweradder you don't have that much hp to the wheels.

Now onto your question.

Either or. You will make the power you want to make on either setup.

Supercharger is cheaper, but takes power to make power
Turbocharger is more expensive, but more efficient since it uses wasted energy to create boost(it runs off of your exhaust gasses)

Either way you will make the power you want out of either setup.

Roush's Stage 1 upgrade package consists of mostly body and appearance modifications; road-hugging Stage 2s get the looks and suspension upgrades; and new tire-burning Stage 3 machines are for those who like to melt pavement as well as carve it.

The fresh-for-'01 Roush Stage 3 is the Mustang Jack always wanted to build, with greatly increased horsepower and torque, plus carefully engineered changes to the suspension, braking, and body systems. The Stage 3 'Stang is available in coupe or convertible form, smog legal in all 50 state and is offered through a nationwide network of some 200 Ford dealers.

stage 1 roush had just a bodykit and exhaust... unless he has a ton of work done to it... which is still a little unbelievable without a poweradder
