Transmisson question(s)

Is it normal for the trans to chirp third? Ill be cruising about 55 and floor it and it will downshift from 4th to 3rd and chirp third the motor revs to about 4k-4500 and the torque converter engages and then i hear the chirp. I use to have my 17inch rims on for the summer and then i got a flat and the trans has been doing that since i put my winter rims (95 Gt Stock rims) on. I have light mods and a very mild tune for DD stock open diff. Should i be worried about possible trans problems? Also i bought a Trans go shift kit, and a GT drop out rear end should i wait on the install and replace the torque converter or go ahead and do it? I know it wont chirp 3rd anymore with the GT rear end but im kinda worried.

id say its normal if you have a shift kit. Pretty impressive for a six huh?
