the top 1 is a cobra hood and the bottom is a 1999 GT hood and V6 hood. i have the 99GT hood but its the exact same as the V6. i got mine for $75 because the guy got his 99 stang and didnt like how it wasnt like the other GT's so he bought a cobra hood . but from the factory the 2000+ gt scoop is just screwed onto a V6 hood. my friend told me that when he got his painted so im sure you could get it from a dealership or ford distributor.
it has the same hood as the top picture... claimed to be a cobra... i don't think that kid would switch the hoods on a sixer

You can tell its a six when he goes down the street. Listen to it in high rpms. It sounds like my car does in high rpms just louder. The throatiness is pretty much gone. Yea, it doesn't sound ricey at high rpms, but just listen to the characteristics of the car. It sounds like a six.

Try to ignore the supercharger, but just listen to the characteristics of the engine. Especially at high rpms. They are way too different to be both be v8's

exactly. Thats my point. The characteristics of the v6, and the v8 are different. If you listen closely to both cars at high rpms you can tell the difference. Listen to the engines cycling. The v6 is faster cycling than the v8.

Edit - Yes, a cobra is not the best example because of the fact it's a 4v dohc engine, but I couldn't find a good GT video that shows the car up close, and far away.

your right man i dont

can you tell me what a cam is? where it goes?
how a turbo works?
how a supercharger works?
whats the difference between the 96-98 v6's and the 99-04s?
do gears give you gains on a dyno?
do you have a fully working brain?
