need new battery?
So i left my car sitting for two weeks without starting it outdoors. When i went to start it, all the electrical come on but when i went to start it was just a loud clicking noise. I was able to get someone to jump my car and get it running. Unfortunately i didn't have the chance to actually drive it anywhere, so the next day when i went to start it, it made the clicking noise again. Here's my question:
Is the battery on its last legs or is the fact that I'm leaving my car for long periods just something that happens. I was thinking of even investing in a portable car jumper as to not be dependent on someone jumping me every time. Now that I'm in college I dont drive my car as much, so it's going to do alot of sitting. What do you think? New battery? or portable jumper? |

The best way to determine the condition of your battery would be to take it into an autozone or any autoparts store that does battery testing.
