New BBK Cold Air Intake

I installed a BBK cold air intake that i got from my friend as a b-day gift.
Looks nice.

go to advanced auto parts
go to the wall where they have the car wash stuff
then go the degreases
get a product called BLACK MAGIC engine shine and degreaser

buy it
spray it all over that extremely dirty motor with pressure in the hose rinse it off after about 5-10minutes of it being sprayed...or just scrub a little with a brush

the difference is magic and its basically effortless

i have the same one and its a PITA to clean the filter

I changed the way you installed the filter by cutting the opening larger to allow the filter to fit in from the engine bay.

did no one notice that there is a puddle of coolant sitting under the thermostat in the first pic? might wanna fix that first

The puddle of coolant was there because i changed the t-stat before taking that pic. I was bleeding the air out of the system.
