My crap has been having electrical problems since my tune. The problems aren't severe as they once were with this thing. I have "buzzed" 2 alts and had a coolant line melt completely through the power wire off the alt to the fuse block. The Problem: the batt light comes on when im driving but it only comes on when i practice launching and after i get on it and it shifts then the light comes on. But the weird thing is it comes on and goes away and comes on dimly and gets brighter or just flashes. I know its not a overly serious problem but i would like to catch it before it gets worse. You can tell its not that bad because the bat gauge and lights dont dim or anything once the bat light comes on. One would think its the ground but i have checked them numerous times. The ground on the alt to the cluster and what not is designed poorly and likes to vibrate and float off its contact. I have since checked them every day and pressed it back into the alt. And after that coolant line burned through the power wire, i made my own (pics later) and i took all that apart and soldered connections heat shrinked and re taped it all so that should be fine. Replaced the belt. Checked the voltages when car is off and running and under load and at no point does the alt show weakness. I just dont want to have to fork out a ton of money to buy a 3rd one im sick of dealing with these things.
